My favorite shoot of the month would have to be the Company magazine shoot I did with the team at Heathrow terminal 5 inside the airport and on the runway!! It was the very first time ever that a shoot was allowed on the runway and it was an amazing experience to see the models posing and the planes taking off behind them. The theme for the company shoot was 70′s fashion and the hair was big like the Marc Jacobs spring /summer show 2011. As the hair was so big we wanted to keep the make-up understated so went for natural-looking dewy skin and eyes with a lavender matt lip.

I also went to Leeds for a Collection 2000 shoot to showcase all the new products. It’s always so nice to catch up with the team behind the brand and of course preview all the exciting new products that will be launching in the next few months.

We did three make-up looks that day.

The first was a gorgeous close up of a new volumising mascara so the brief was perfect lashes, flawless skin, glossy lips, peachy cheeks and some black Kohl pencil.

The second look was 70′s romance theme with shimmering cheeks, bronzed face, nude lips and some gold eye shadow from the new trio eye shadow range.

The third look was a colour story featuring blue eye shadow that looked bright and colourful, pink lips and pink nails. It was a super busy day but i had loads of fun and the pics looked stunning so happy days!

I noticed that there’s a lot of 70′s fashion at the moment so most of the shoots that I have been doing lately have that theme and I love it because I can have so much fun with make-up.
February was all about 70’s fashion in the spring/summer issues of the magazines that are coming out.

I did a very cool 70s shoot in a vintage looking bar in Soho for YOU magazine and the model looked like she was a pin up girl of the 70′s with a disco edge. The styling was amazing and the hair and make-up looked great also.

I went for purple smokey eyes and a glossy lip and lots of contour on the cheekbones. We had some great music playing from the 70s so the day was a disco diva’s dream! I can’t wait to see the pics. The shoot comes out on the 27th of March so check it out.

I worked at the Look show for London Fashion week where we created two looks .The first was green smokey eyes mixed with charcoal eye shadow and blended in to perfection with a nude lip and the second look was a bright pink lip with nude eyes and flawless skin. Both looks looked modern and fresh and really made me feel like spring is only around the corner!
The show went really well and there were loads of celebrities on the front row like Sophie Ellis Bextor, Olivia Palermo, Jaime Winstone, ex-Sugababe Keisha, Laura Whitmore and Shayne Ward. After the show we all celebrated with some much needed champagne and dancing at the after party!

So in February of this year the FAB Set went up to the Collection 2000 head office to name the new Colour Intense Solo Eye Shadows. A few months ago I received the eye shadows that we have named! I have tested the eye shadows on recent photoshoots and I love how strong the pigments are and they are so easy to blend.
